The gallery also displays temporary exhibits by local artists as well as other prominent Lithuanian and foreign artists with an emphasis on textile arts.

 

2007 September 5 – October 20

 

Ten Swedish artists take part in the exhibition called „ANOTHER SHORE“.

 

Praticipants:

Annette Ekman, Antonio Lopez, Brita Mellander-Jungermann, Eva Nelander Juntunen, Dalia Lopez, Gunilla Petersson, Katarina Gill, Katriona S.W. Persson, Marija Fazekas, Mimi Belfrage Mohlin.

The exhibition consists of textile works, paintings, graphics, glass, ceramics, bookbinding, objects made of paper and leather.

 

Six swedish artists came to the exhibit opening: (from the left) Dalia Lopez Madrona, Katriona S. W. Persson, Marija Fazekas, Annette Ekman, Eva Nelander  Juntunen, Mimi,

Belfrage Mohlin.

Art works by S. Katkevičienė exhibited at the

Museum were on loan from “Lietuvos Aidas

gallery” and Virginija Katkevičiūtė.

Art works by P. Gerlikienė - from Lithuanian Art Museum

and the National M.K. Čiurlionis Art Museum.

Fine Bone China Symposium IDEA

 

 

16 International Bone China Artists from Finland,

Russia, Sweden and Lithuania exhibited at Janina

Monkute-Marks Museum. The works were created

since 1991. The majority of pieces came from 2003

symposium (“White in White”), 2005 –(“Albino”)

and from 2006 – (“Idea in décor”).
